    Twitch App asks for login setup with multiple profiles


    When I have more than one profile singed into the Xbox One, the Twitch app asks for login to be setup even though I'm already setup to use the app. The only way to get out of this is to sign out the other profile. Please fix as it makes it unusable when
    you have automatic Kinect sign-in enabled.

    Xbox One - Twitch App Black Screen Issue.

    I've been using the Twitch app on my Xbox One for months without issues until about 2 weeks ago.
    Anytime I go into a broadcast the chat is the only thing working, video is completely black and never loads.

    Have un-installed / re-installed the app multiple times. Removed / deleted all saved items on my Xbox One including all keys / content in my profile on Twitch website. Rebooted my modem / router. Still same issue.

    When using the Twitch app on my Xbox 360 or through any web browser everything works fine.

    Any suggestions ? Have a ticket open with Twitch support but haven't received a reply back for almost a week now.

    Issues with Twitch app

    Anyone having issues with the Twitch app. My twitch app freezes after 15 mins of use. I have the original Xbox one, S model and X and seem to only be having issues on my Xbox X. Ive done everything from multiple factory resets, clear Mac Data, cleared Twitch
    Data stream key, cleared profile and resigned back in. Hell I even create a new xbox and twitch profile to see if that helped. I just dont understand why Twitch works fine on my other Xbox devices just fine with no issues using the same wired connection and
    TV. Twitch has been no help and Xbox support seems to be giving me the run around for the past week. Can anyone help or have the same issue?

    Stuck on "Remember password?" screen on Xbox 360 after entering password

    I found a permanent solution that works. Login to your Microsoft account from a PC. setup 2 step verification. Then setup an 'app' password. (An app password is used to login to older MS devices like xbox 360 or windows 8 phone). Then login to your xbox
    360 using the app password instead of your regular password. Then, select remember my password (if you want it to login without putting your password each time) .

    I tested it. It works good. The problem initially occurred on my family profiles/xboxes that didn't have 'remember my password' enabled.

    I can't link my twitch account to my Xbox account on PC

    I am having the same issue. Twitch keeps sending me a successful login, but it just spins on the Xbox app. Neither Twitch nor Xbox shows the accounts as linked. The trouble shooting doesn't seem to have an answer to this question

    Using Xbox App on PC, Windows 11 >

    Click on Profile picture top right >

    Click Settings >

    Scroll down to Linked Accounts >

    Click Link for Twitch >

    Sign in >

    Confirmation email from Twitch for successful login is received >

    The button clicked to Sign On within the XBox App on PC just spins, as in OP screenshot, and never completes the Link

    Why can't I stream my games to Twitch?

    As per post description, you can't livestream to twitch from your Xbox and giving you an error the game is not allowed on streaming. Let's work on this together to sort it out. We will try our best to find resources for an accurate resolution. We would like to ask you if you have downloaded the Xbox apps and if it is updated to its latest version?

    Some factors to consider and how to broadcast your Xbox to Twitch account:

    • Make an initial connection to your computer
    • Linked your Twitch account to your Xbox console. ( if you have done this already, you don't need to do it again unless you replace your console or change Twitch accounts.)
    • Go to the official Twitch website on your computer and login.
    • On your Xbox console, open the twitch app and click the login button. App will give you a 6 digit code.
    • On your PC, in the same browser that you logged into Twitch, visit the Twitch activation website and enter the code from the app.
