Tv apps won't work

so I just bought a new Xbox one, downloaded iPlayer, itv player and sky go, but none of them will work! I've tried uninstalling and redownloading them and restarting my Xbox but they either won't play any programmes or when open just go straight back to
the home screen! Anyone know how I can fix it?

I'm sorry to see any app issues! Sounds like you might be in the UK based on the apps you've got. If that's the case, you will need to make sure your

console's locale is set to your region. These apps can have issues if they are trying to be used on a console that has a mismatched region.

If your console is set to the UK, you'll want to make sure that your internet connection is good. These apps can take a lot of resources on the console, including some bandwidth requirements to stream TV shows. I would suggest following the steps in our

streaming troubleshooter to see if that helps you out.

If you're still having issues after that, I would have you try the console at a different internet connection, just to completely rule out any network issues. Lastly, a

factory reset may be in order.
