    TV, Movies, and MyVIP?

So the FAQ says TVs and Movies are eligible for MyVIP but NOT Microsoft Movies and TV Season Passes. I understand TV Season Passes, but where do movies stand in all this? I'm confused and would appreciate clarification. I assume TV episodes that are not
    Season Passes are also eligible?

    :)

Although Xbox Ideas is a great place to post suggestions, the Movies & TV app isn't an Xbox thing, it is a global Microsoft app which has a separate team to deliver these and it won't be the Xbox team who does that.

Anyone else think they should make movies and tv bought or rented on xbox live available to watch on all phones and tablets (aka apple products)?

    TV, Movies, and MyVIP?

    Hello Griffin11287,

I see your confusion. Since we have a branch called "Microsoft Movies and TV" which is where you purchase movies and TV (Microsoft Movies & TV | Official site), what that FAQ entry is saying
is that "Season Passes from the Microsoft Movies and TV store" are not eligible for MyVIP. I can see how this could be read as "Microsoft Movies" and "TV Store Season Passes" are not eligible.

You are correct that the season passes are not eligible, but movie purchases are fine. TV episodes that are not a Season Pass purchase will also work. We'll let our web team know about this feedback!

    Preorder

    Hello JETLIAN,

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP. Since this offer is based off of MyVIP eligible purchases to boost MyVIP progress, pre-orders are therefore not eligible for the offer. MyVIP eligibility is explained in our FAQ, as well as in the FAQ entry for this
    offer:

Which content is eligible for this offer?

You must spend at least $100 before tax on qualifying MyVIP content from the Xbox Store and Microsoft Movies & TV during the offer period. Most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (game pre-orders
do NOT qualify), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game season passes, themes, and avatar items. From Microsoft Movies & TV, qualifying content includes movies, TV shows, and TV seasons. However, in-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove
Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards do not qualify.

Did not receive star upgrade/ haven't got any rewards points since 1-11-17

    Hello Shady87,

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, and therefore not eligible for the VIP Boost offer. This is mentioned in both our MyVIP FAQ:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

and the FAQ for the offer:

Which content is eligible for this offer?

You must spend at least $XX before tax on qualifying MyVIP content from the Xbox Store and Microsoft Movies & TV during the offer period.

Since your purchases last month went towards offers, they did not award payback. Purchases cannot award MyVIP payback and offer progress.

    Hello Luso81,

Pre-orders and game consumables are not eligible for MyVIP, and therefore were not eligible for the VIP Boost offer. This is mentioned in both our MyVIP FAQ:
