TV Does Not Startup Since November 2014 Update

I installed the November 2014 update and since that time, my TV picture doesn't start unless I power cycle the satellite box two times. I didn't have any problem before the November update. I leave the XBOX on at night and have it set to never power down.
The TV and satellite box are off during the night. When I power on the satellite box and TV in the morning, I get the "lost connection" screen. It used to take 5-10 seconds to show a TV picture, but now it doesn't connect at all. The only solution I have
had is to power cycle the satellite box again or restart the XBOX. What changed?

Xbox One doesn't turn on TV when system updates occur

It does actually turn the TV on, but not until it's applied the update. It's probably at the same point in the console's startup routine, except that it starts doing an update first which delays it turning the TV on for you.

Dunno if this will work but found a thread in Live TV that has seemed to work so far for me, Go to Settings>Power & Startup>Energy Saving Mode

It disables all the wonderful things the one does but haven't had an issue since.

Will update if it changes

It is the November update mine does not work either. I tried everything possible to make it work. I called Microsoft and they saw where multiple user are also affected.

 

Same here tv won't start up unless I unplug the hemi cord and plug it back in shows it updated on 11-08-2014.

 

I have a similar problem. After the November update, every time I start up XBOX ONE, I get the no signal message on the TV app. To fix it, I have to cycle power on my DirecTV box, then it works fine. It was working fine before the November update, so hopefully
it will get fixed soon.

 

There is neither picture nor sound when I try to watch tv since the November Update.

I have switched the HDMI port for the TV so it is not connected and my Virgin Media box is working.

 

Same issue here, Locks up my xbox one and have to hard boot.... I have also noticed when in settings and try one guide same issue happens

 

Same here. Will disconnect from TV if no resolved soon.
