TV calibrations

Discus and support TV calibrations in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Has anyone calibrated there tv via the X1? I have not as my picture quality is 100% (IMO). I have a 50" plasma. Is it worth the time to calibrate?... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by TwinnedIsland, Jan 1, 2014.

    Has anyone calibrated there tv via the X1? I have not as my picture quality is 100% (IMO). I have a 50" plasma. Is it worth the time to calibrate?

    Peggle 2 Borders being cut off Screen.

    Use your tv remote and go into tv settings and look for all the calibration options.

    My TV screen wont fit everything on it when playing Xbox One

    But as I said above, there's no way to adjust it since the X1 TV calibration just gives you steps to calibrate your TV and the aspect of my TV will not change for the better.

    Define calibrate... Audio/Visual lag? Picture settings? Screen placement?

    If you have a strong eye for picture quality then the settings may be worth playing around with. There should be an option to restore the defaults should you accidentally make it look worse so if you have some spare time, what can go wrong?

    On the subject of calibration, Kinect is well worth doing if you haven't already (Y)

    i thought my settings were good but i used the calibrate hdtv and my picture is alot better i can tell the difference in the games and people have your settings set to 36 pixels and PC FULL RGB that makes a huge difference in blacks and whites

    Well without your model number or.make.It's hard to calibrate your tv

    Ok look up calibration of your tv based on your tv and model

    And follow the guide

    (This is on the tv itself not just the xbox which assumes you did this already)

    Then once your tv is calibrated then run the xbox wizard

    And no tvs aren't calibrated by default dynamic is only for generic settings
