    TV and OneGuide settings


    I have an Xbox One and i originally set it up to workwith live TV and it was working fine. I've had the Xbox for about a month now but now Live TV no longer works. Whenever I try to start the TV app it simply says it took too long to load. I try to go to
    the TV and OneGuide settings to possibly reconfigure it, but whenever I go to settings, and click on TV and OneGuide, it takes me to the TV app and does not load. Please Help!

    Missing channels from Oneguide

    Hey Slyrus,

    When setting up TV and OneGuide, did you type in the correct zip code for your area? You can check in settings, TV and OneGuide settings to confirm.

    Sorry to hear about the OneGuide issue! Let's start by resetting TV settings so you can try settings up OneGuide again.

    To reset TV settings, follow these steps:

    • Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
    • In the Settings menu, select 'TV & OneGuide'.
    • Select 'Troubleshooting'.
    • Select Reset TV Settings.
    • From here you can set up your OneGuide again.

    TV and OneGuide settings

    Try holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down. This has the same effect as clearing the cache on the 360 and should solve the issue for you.

    I've had the same issue. Trying to set up Live TV. Previously had it hooked up to a 55" TV with no issues. Now trying to hook it up to a home theater system. When I click on TV setup and Oneguide in the TV setup screen comes up with the spinning circle
    and does not go further than this screen. I have tried everything, rebooting, taking out cables for 5 minutes, tried an offline diagnostic reboot and still can't get past the load screen of the tv setup settings. Any ideas?

    Hi Randyored,

    Under the TV & Oneguide settings there is an option for reset TV and Oneguide settings. Try doing that to see if it gets you back to normal.
