Tuto: Play Xcloud on PC using Android-x86

Hi fellow (cloud) gamers. As a lot of you, I'm having a blast gaming on Xcloud and I just wanted to share how I managed to bring the fun to PC using an Android emulator until Microsoft makes Xcloud directly available on Windows 10. (We're on lockdown for christ sake, when are you gonna release your beta??? We have all seen the leaks, it's ready!!!) Anyway I'm writing this small tutorial as I found confusing information on Reddit regarding this topic and I came up with a really easy and simple way to make it work. First I came up with the conclusion that you need an Android emulator that enables Bluetooth connectivity. Some folks might say that they found a way to play on Xcloud with a wired controller but that was a dead end for me. As of now the app is made to be used with a Bluetooth controller so you need Bluetooth. Period. So no memu. No Bluestack. etc. Android-x86 enables Bluetooth and they have released recently their first stable version of Android Pie (link) so this is what I used and it worked for me (I know other emulators such as Bliss OS work with Bluetooth too but I heard people having issues running xcloud depending on which versions they were using so I didn't even try). You can find easily specific tuto on how to install/run Android-x86. I personally created a bootable version on a flash drive using Rufus. When you have Android-x86 up and running there is one and only one extremely important thing to do before installing xcloud. Enable Native bridge!!! The thing is that xcloud is not supposed to work natively on x86 because something something ARM so for it to work and the app not to crash just after you launch it you just need to enable native bridge from the Android x86 settings. Just go to the regular Android Settings and scroll down until you see the Android x86 settings options, click on it and Native Bridge should be the first option. Just enable it and you're good to go. Now you can go to the Playstore and download the xcloud streaming app. (Do it in that order. If you download the app and enable Native Bridge after it will still crash. You would have to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work). And voila! Don't forget to connect your controller with Bluetooth obviously and just launch xcloud. The last version of the app should work flawlessly. No issue with screen rotating. You just have to login and launch a game as you would do on your Android phone/tablet. Hope it could help some others. Now going back to play Borderlands 2 on a bigger screen... Stay safe and happy gaming!
