    Turtle beach headset needs me to shout for anyone to hear me


    For some odd reason my turtle beach headset is stuggling to pick my voice and requires me to shout to for anybody to actually hear me, ive tried hard resetting my xbox and controller to see if that did anything and ive also made sure all the settings for
    audio are on properly but nothing seems to be making it better, it happened over night, it was working great the day before but then it just stopped, hope somebody has a fix for it.

    Turtle beach 420x headset

    anyone have the turtle beach 420x wireless headset and have problems with microphone not working. I can hear everyone in the party but they can't hear me.

    Xbox One will NOT let me use turtle beach to chat

    my xbox one will not let me use my turtle beaches to chat. I can hear the game and hear other people but the mic does not pic of my voice

    I have tried a different controller, different headset, different headset adapter microsofts and turtle beaches

    but it lets me use the default headset to chat? so it's not the controller

    I have updated the controllers

    EVERYTHING IS PLUGGED! which is why i get sound and can hear chat

    I have to agree with the original post. It is really becoming annoying when I constantly (not just myself, everyone I know) have to reset my xbox because the chat stops working.... I can hear them but they can't hear me...Or they can hear me and I can't
    hear them. I had this issue with my xbox headset and with the XBOX ONE turtle beach headset I have.... As does my friends with xbox headsets and different turtle beach headsets.

    For the love of god if you are going to invest in a headset, buy one that 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound. Why anyone would settle for 2 channel stereo is beyond me. You might as well be playing through the tv speakers.



    I have had no issues with my turtle beach DX11's which are basically the wired equivilent of the X41's. But there is one big problem with all turtle beach headsets that isn't even related to performance.... THEIR WIRES AND CORDS!



    The wires on turtle beach headsets are like SPIDER IVY AND THEY HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN. No matter what I do to keep them straight and untangled, they have a mind of their own and just want to naturally tangle themselves and kink themselves to the point
    of pissing me off. I eventually said I've had enough it and decided I would rather put up with the short battery life of the Wireless Dolby Digital X41's than to ever buy another corded Turtle Beach headset ever again.



    Let this be a warning to ANYONE buying a wired turtle beach headset. It might not annoy you as much as it did me but I guarantee you it will.

    XBox One headset adaptor - I get NO chat audio

    I specificallygot the X42's because Turtle Beach said those were compatible. Also my brother just purchased the new Turtle Beach XO ones or something like that. Came with the adapter, his doesn't work either.

    If my headset didn't work, then why can they hear me in the game?
