turns on by itself

both of my xboxs turn on by them selves. how do I stop this from happening

you can change a setting on your xbox for remotes try changing it and it shouldnt pick up your remote

Thanks for all the help, although it turns out that my Guitar Hero controller was under a load of stuff in my bedroom and was on, hence causing the xbox to turn on by itself and to show an extra controller being connected XD

 

that issue depends on many factors including signals with the same frequency. Just remember to unplug the power cord when you are done using it
