turned my Xbox on this morning and all games have been uninstalled

every game i have no matter if i have the disc or download have magically disappeared. tried the hard restart, tried removing hard drive then plugging it back in after a hard restart. it's as if the fairies have been in and deleted everything. if I use
a game that I have the disc for it does an install from scratch , F1 2018 30gb install for instance. anything i have downloaded from the store it says i own the game but again its a from scratch install. my only choice as far as I can see is to spend the next
2 days downloading everything from scratch again.

how I miss the put a disc in and play straight away days.

any ideas anyone.

well so far so good. after downloading all games and updates everything is ok all saved games are present and working

it's really bizarre as the games didn't show up on the home screen to start with then bit by bit they appeared. it was as if the Xbox had factory reset . my account was on screen and I could access the store. fifa 18 has finished installing and all my saved
games are still working.

even games like roblox wouldn't load.

I haven't turned them off but will check settings in case this has been done accidentally. thanks

You said you tried removing your hard drive, maybe it could be an issue with your external hard drive. Try downloading your most played games to your internal drive for now and if you can and get your external drive checked on to see if there are any issues.
