    Turn on Xbox x - nothing plays until after a full reset.


    Hello,

    When i get done gaming i close all the apps and then turn off the machine.

    When i start it back up, clicking a game to play does nothing.

    I reset the system - the light blinks for about 2 mins and then the system restarts.

    Then i can launch an app/game.

    What’s going on?

    Note - it does it even if i don’t close the apps, it just takes longer on the reset if i don’t.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    I would like to clarify, are you resetting the console keeping games and apps, or removing everything?

    Also, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues.

    Thank you. I tried everything and nothing had worked until I reset the Xbox one keeping games, It worked for me and can now finally play. This happened to me after I purchased the full game cod mw 2.

    Hmmm, i've had nothing but trouble with my Foxtel into the Xbox One. EVERYTIME i turn the xbox on the tv is frozen or black and nothing short of a hard reset fixes the problem. After a hard reset it will find a picture and work flawlessly until the next

    A full reset may be needed. Press the xbox power button and hold it until you see and feel your xbox turn off. When you turn it back on it should have reset.

    A hard reset doesn't wipe anything off a full factory reset does!

    To hard reset the Xbox hold the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins
