Turn off melee attack in games.? Cant stop accidentally pressing it when playing.

I don't know if it does AOE damage when you turn it off. I know it does damage to anyone who tries to melee you, especially if you upgrade it to do more damage (up to 150% damage returned to the attacker).

Just a quick run down of the brutal kills and melee attacks:

• Pressing and holding B will results in either a meatshield (if against a zombie(press A to snap the neck)) or a gun to the face execution (by pressing RT when they are on their knees)against human characters (specs ops)
  
• Tapping B will do a normal melee attack
  
• Tapping B continuously will be a melee attack combo
  
• Tap B then pressing A instantly after will result in a brutal kill (snapping neck, neck slit then knife to the head, or curb stomp)
  
• Tap B then pressing Y instantly after will result in a special kill available to your character (as long as your ability meter is full and not in use

Update: I'm about 90% sure it is attack reaction and this setting also controls friendly fire. With the setting turned to no, throwing a fire grenade at your partner wouldn't deal damage but with the setting turned on it will. Also when you do a melee move
such as (Sheva's) twist kick the A.I. will attempt to do a follow up melee move.

Yes, I always turn off the console and remove the power cable from the socket, when I stop playing, though I don't turn it off by pressing the Xbox button on the console itself.

You cant stop a Ddoss attack though can u no matter how much money u throw at the service u cant stop it and thats what they r doing it hasnt affected me till now i cant play any games
