Discus and support trying to watch a blueray in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; trying to watch a blueray, and the screen goes to "idle" and dims my movie, then shows pop up... i turned notification and pop ups off, but there arn't...     trying to watch a blueray, and the screen goes to "idle" and dims my movie, then shows pop up... i turned notification and pop ups off, but there arn't any otions for ídle dim the screen' to turn it off during video play back... just options for how much
    time before dimming....

    never did this before

    problems using blueray app on xbox one x

    Hi,

    Im trying to watch movies on my xbox one x console. I use the blueray app that is needed but trying to watch both 4k and blueray movies the picture flashes, black screen and no sound for 2-3 seconds before it comes back. This is repeating it self thru the
    movies.

    I got some problems with my old xbox one x and got a new one from repair two weeks ago, so it should not be any problems with console i think.

    Hi Guys, I suggest you to try These Troubleshooting Steps:

    support.xbox.com/.../disc-error

    If that not helps, try reinstalling the BlueRay App like TorridestData86 has said!

    You can also try Clearing the persist Storage in the BlueRay-Settings.

    If you^re using "Child-Account" check your Security Settings, may you can^t Play it because of the Age of majority..

    If that all does not help. it could may be that you^re using a "Region-locked" Movie...

    Games are not Region locked! But DVD and BlueRays can be Region locked!!
