Trying to watch a blu ray show on my Xbox one but white flashes/flickers keep popping up on...

This happened couple of months ago when trying to play blu-ray movie, restart solved the issue.

Since watched few different blu-ray and uhd movies. Watched one this morning (uhd), in the evening tried to play blu-ray and display started flickering. Restart didnt help. Tried to play uhd which I watched this morning, display is flickering, tried few
different blu-ray's - display flickering.

Power cycle - done

Persistent storage - done

Bluray app reinstalled

Cables and ports checked, unplugged- plugged

Settings on the tv, checked, unchanged

***I have played a game from disc and no problems. If I was to uninstall the game and install it again from a disc, would that eliminate possibility of faulty disc drive***

using VGA on Xbox one should be a criminal offense, why not watch a blu-ray on a 13 inch black and white screen

I think that my Xbox One is set to the Instant On mode (white light on the power brick).

My Xbox One makes loud noises sometimes when I take out a disc and not remove it immediately.

When I do end up taking it out, the Blu-Ray Drive detected that there was something there and will try to put it inside the Blu-Ray Drive.

It then makes this lould noise, but it only happends when the above happends

It doesn't happend anymore because I immediately remove the disc once it pops out

1. When setting up my Kinect I'm noticing a few random white pixels sometimes and also a fine dark line going through the middle of the screen (when looking at yourself with the Kinect)

I didn't notice this. does it show when you go to the kinect settings and do what kinect sees?

2.I put in a blu ray and it didn't read, I took the blu ray out and put it back in then it worked fine. Couldn't get it to do it again. Plus the only game I have at the mo is fifa which is a digital download so I can only do this with films.

3. While blu ray was playing I was messing around in the menu dashboard while it was still playing and noticed a few jumps here and there sometimes.

4. I've been silly enough to let the blue blu ray screen pop up when loading and then quickly eject the disc for it to come out this isn't a blu ray disc.

How many bluray's have you tested... if just one this could be a disk. I would recommend trying with another disc and/or if a friend has an xbox one, try a game of his, or try your disc over there. That will at least tell you
if your console may need servicing.

Might have to pick myself up one, been watching plenty of netflix and blu-rays on my one.
