    trying to use Minecraft for PC, and log onto a new account, but i cannot change the account im trying to log into because it always opens windows hello, and asks for a pin to the account im NOT trying to log into. Ive tried reinstalling the minecraft launcher, resetting it, etc. I dont know the login to the account its making me sign into.

    I don't think Minecraft for Windows is used on an Xbox, right? I'm using a PC and moved my account to Minecraft for Windows for the whole shutting down Mojang accounts access in a few days. So, on my PC, I can log onto the server through the Mojang account but not on my Minecraft for Windows account. Those two accounts should work when logging into a PC server, right?

    New minecraft launcher clashing with my xbox account

    So whenever I log onto Minecraft with my Microsoft account it logs me into Xbox/Microsoft related apps with that account, that’s just a bug? I hope they resolve it or change it in some way so I can login to a different account on Xbox then a different account on Minecraft without having to keep signing in and stuff. Also how do I reinstall the old Minecraft launcher or find it on my pc, I deleted it after installing the new one

    Hey there Tomoseph! Congrats on the new PC! The good Judge above was correct. In order to be gaming and having those achievements to your Xbox GamerTag, you will need to use the Microsoft Account tied to that GT. So the same account that you log onto
    Xbox LIVE with will be the one you log onto your gaming PC with. Make sense?
