Please try these steps.

If your Xbox is asking for your child's account PIN to sign in or make a purchase, and you don't have that PIN, you need to follow a process to recover or reset the PIN. The console may require you to enter your Microsoft account password to proceed.

Sign In Attempt: When prompted, enter a 6-digit combination repeatedly (up to 3 times).

I have been trying to get my grandson who is on a Nintendo Switch to be able to connect to my realm so he can play with me when he is at home.

There are a ton of tutorials on how to change his settings to Join Multiplayer game and You can create and join clubs. This is supposed to be able to be set up by a parent or adult in the family.

Yet absolutely nothing shows those two settings for an adult to set up for a child in Microsoft Family or Xbox Live. The grandson has a account on Xbox live as do I and his mother.

Still will not let us change those two settings. Always shows he does not have permissions.

Really hard to believe this is so complicated.

3 years ago bought my son a new Xbox had an issue trying to set up Xbox live,so my son made a new account.he no longer uses the Xbox as it is broken and has moved onto a gaming pc..I received notification of Xbox live subscription going out beginning of March on my email and credit card.tried for over a week to contact Microsoft ,gave up frustrated in the end contacted my bank to cancel the 49.99 payment to Microsoft that would go out on 2nd of March as I can’t get any response from Microsoft,to only get an email on 2nd of March saying thank you for my new subscription.I do not know what the new account was set up to access Xbox live so can’t cancel reoccurring subscription.how can I stop this and can I get refunded, can’t get call back to work ,as it always says”there is an error at your end”
