Trying to recover previous account

If the email address to the account no longer exists I would advise contacting phone/chat support at support.xbox.com/contact-us to try and recover it.

Yeah you should just be able to log in to your old account with your email address and password. The disc issue sounds like you will need to contact Support to set up a repair.

You may try to recover your account using a phone number through this link https://account.live.com/username/recover

Just make sure that the phone number was added to your previous account or was part of your account alias.

My fellow ambassador is trying to help but the link that he put in was for recovering your account but you would need to know the email address associated with the account that you are trying to recover.

If you know the gamertag that was associated with the account you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them the gamertag and if they can verify ownership of the account then they can give you the email address that is
associated with the account and then can go to the link in the previous post and try and recover the account.

You can recover your previous Xbox Live account if you know the email account that was used for the account you are trying to recover.

I have done this myself with my current account. As long as you know the password and email associated with your Microsoft account this can be recovered from the could.

Here are the updated steps you need to take in order to recover your account used in 2007

1) On your Xbox Dashboard press the Xbox Home Button

2) Navigate your way to the sign in menu

3) Select Add New

4) Enter the email and password for the account you are trying to access

5) This will fetch/ recover the data and account you are trying to recover and you will be able to see the accounts and friends you had on the account providing those accounts are still active.
