    Trying to recover me original Xbox gamertag


    I searched and found my original Xbox Og account on Xbox and it still has in the bio “add my new account” with my new Account gamertag. I’m trying to find away to ether recover that account or log in and have it again if anyone can help that would be great

    I am trying to sign into my Xbox live account using my original gamertag but I no longer have the original email account associated with my Xbox live account. How do I recover my live account and gamertag?

    Help Recovering an Antique Gamertag

    I'm trying to recover my Xbox live gamertag from the Xbox live beta period (so it's about 10 years old).. Because its such an old account, it isn't linked to a windows live email and if it were, its probably disabled. I called customer service and they said
    I couldn't recover it without the original credit card used and referred me to asking here.

    I tried to log onto my original xbox to change the email but xbox live wasn't working on it.

    Does anyone know how I could recover my ancient gamertag?

    My Xbox Live passcode has been forgotten!

    I've recovered my gamertag but I still need the xbox Live Passcode in order to change it. Is there a way to remove or reset the xbox Live Passcode after recovering the gamertag?

    Will deleting the profile only and recovering the gamertag allow me to change/remove the xbox Live Passcode without entering the original?

    Sir, that GamerTag has most likely not been recovered since the Xbox 360 era. If this is the case and you try to recover it, it will not allow you to. The reason for this is due to the fact that the original Xbox servers have shut down. There is no servers
    to pull that GT from. Thus, we are now in this issue. If you have not recovered that GamerTag onto an Xbox 360 since the servers shut down then that GT is lost forever sadly.

    I don't believe it's possible to recover original Xbox gamertags anymore, since support is over for that service.

    Unfortunately there is no way to recover original Xbox names anymore or request a specific gamertag.

    That gamertag looks like it's already in use -
    live.xbox.com/.../Profile
