    Trying to recover an old gamertag that I want to reactivate....


    But it appears that the gamertag is linked to a non-microsoft email account (Yahoo).

    Signed into Xbox account/profile the other days, and it asks me for my email address; I don't know if it recognizes or allows non-microsoft email address sign-ins, but what steps do I need to take to recover the particular gamertag that I want to sign into?

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue in recovering your Gamertag. If you're unable to recall the email address you've used to log into that particular profile, then you can give the
    Lost Account Solutiona try and it will walk you through the steps to get
    it back. Any email can be used to create a Microsoft/Xbox account.
    Give this a try and let us know the results.

    Sorry but no one here can help. Support will have the email for the old tag stored and will give it to you so long as you can answer some account specific questions.

    However, looking at your bio it says that you are 7 years old. How can you have a husband?
