Trying to play a game, but it keeps telling me to give this code to an adult but it's not...

Hi..

So I’m trying to buy a 17+ game but it says I’m not old enough and to “give this code to an adult”. I dont have any family settings connected to my Xbox1, and I dont know how to “give the code to an adult” so i can play the game. Please help? (I am under
18 i just dont know who to give the “code” to or where the code even is.)

Was this resolved? I'm having the same issue, it keeps telling me to add an adult and I've signed in multiple times but it keeps telling me that I need to add an adult in order to add a child.

It keeps telling me that it can't start the player. Then it gives me an error code 3-1
