    Updated new xbox live update this morning, went to play gta5 online after update, system froze trying to play and now xbox 360 hums and refuses to boot up at all ? any help welcome, p.s hardly use xbox360 and its only just over a year old...

    I got a new xbox one s and I attempted to play the new call of duty but something came up. After the game was downloaded, it then needed an update for the actual game and when I went to do that, the game said their was an error for the update.

    I've been waiting along time to play this game and after I finally get a new xbox one, the game update doesn't work after the game is fully installed.

    I'm very annoyed and irritated, if anyone has any insight, please let me know.

    Skyrim Special Edition on Xbox1 Problem?

    UPDATE on this problem! The good news: it's not your Xbox One. The bad news: it was the game update. After numerous crashes, I removed the Skyrim Sp Ed disc and inserted Fallout 4 disc. Played for hours, no freezes, no problems. Inserted Skyrim Sp Ed
    disc, started a new game, have played for hours, am now at level 9 with no freezes, no problems. Apparently, the new update has a problem with our saves from before the update. It's bad news if you're weeks and weeks into the game!

    This was happening to me as well. There was a new xbox live update and it was all fixed after I updated. Maybe try the update and see if that works. :)

    Mine does it

    1. After I play a downloaded game and try to play a disk game right after.

    2. I start a game and it requires a update, after it updates the screen goes blank.

    To unfreeze my screen I have to open the disk tray. And either the game will play or it will go back to the dashboard.

    I noticed that we both are using a jumpdrive for storage and don't have a Xbox 360 HDD, maybe that is our problem.
