Trying to migrate minecraft.

I'm am trying to get back into Minecraft but wont let me play because I need to migrate accounts to Microsoft.

I've tried going through all the steps it asks but near the end its telling me I don't OWN Minecraft or i need to purchase it. doesn't make sense.

I've owned Minecraft since before time. this migrating situation is chasing people away....

Any help on this please.

MAKING THE MOVE

The only online location where you can make the move is at Minecraft.net, after you have signed in with your Mojang account credentials.

Mojang Studios and Minecraft will not ask you for account information in any other way, so please beware of any phishing attempts or fake websites.

If you had already migrated your minecraft account to your dad's account there is no way to migrate it again. According to Minecraft support, this migration is permanent.

This is assuming that's the migration you are referring to. But you can double check with Minecraft support.

If you migrated Minecraft to your Microsoft account, and it was this account that was hacked, it will be the one you have to try to recover.

My account in minecraft got stolen was migrated on this account they ve changed the email adress on my minecraft acount that was migrated on this **** **** platform.

It is possible that your Minecraft account must have been migrated to Microsoft.

You can check the information about the account migration FAQ in Minecraft here at this link:

In order to locate the Microsoft account associated with your Minecraft account. Kindly sign in all of your email addresses on account.microsoft.com > then go to Payment and Billing > then Order History.

From there, try to locate any Minecraft transactions,

if you haven't found one, try to check your other email address in the Order history.

If you have found a Minecraft transaction, use the same account to sign in on your Minecraft launcher as it is most likely the account where your Minecraft account was migrated to.
