Trying to log in to my xbox account in windows 10 causes a log in screen to flash and disappear

Please use the Microsoft Gaming Repair Tool for Xbox App, this tool detects and automatically repairs error found on your system. Please download and install it using this link then run it as administrator.

If the gaming repair tool did not fix your issue, please delete all your Xbox and Microsoft credentials from the credentials manager.

To open Credential Manager, type credential manager in the search box on the taskbar and select Credential Manager Control panel.

Select Web Credentials or Windows Credentials and delete everything with Xbox and Microsoft.

Please note that this will delete your saved credentials from your computer.

I didn't uninstall the Xbox games because they come together with the whole system Windows 10. However, if it is possible to uninstall the Xbox App then, please, tell me how to do it and I will try to do it. Other casual games seem to be displayed correct
information about my achievements. And when I log into the Microsoft Solitaire Collection there are sometimes errors concerning connections with internet and logging into my Xbox account. But these errors disappear when I log the second time. Then the program works
properly.

We've also got this. Try this method, it seems to work - when your child tries to log in on the xbox, untick the "remember password" option then try to log in. When the error message is on screen, do a short press on the silver X button in the middle of
the controller, the error screen should disappear and they will be logged on! This worked for my son and we are also in the UK. Good luck.

that didnt work either. this is ridiculous. like i am on the xbox app, signed into my Microsoft account but the window to log into my xbox account will not come up. it pops up, flickers, then disappears.
