Trying to install abox app via windows store FAIL

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft community.

Based on the description, it appears that you are having an issue on installing Xbox app to your PC.

This could be due to corrupt system file.

Before anything else, let me ask you the following questions below so that I fully understand the problem.

1. When does the issue started?

2. How about installing different app? Does it show the same issue?

3. Did you make any changes to your PV prior to this issue?

Kindly try the steps below.

Fix 1 : Update windows

select the Start Windows logo Start button button, and then go to Settings Gear-shaped Settings icon > Update & Security Circular arrows Sync icon > Windows Update Circular arrows Sync icon.





Fix 2 : Run System scan

This will search for and restore the corrupted system files.

• When searching, type CMD.
  
• Right-click Command Prompt > Open as administrator.
  
• Copy and paste each command and run it one by one:
  

[table][tr][td]

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

[/td][/tr][/table]

• When you're done, type another command to start System File Checker.
  
• In the same Command Prompt window.
  
• Copy and paste this command:
  
• type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.
  
• After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit
  

Fix 3 :Verify Date and Time

• Go to Settings.
  
• then chose the Time & language option from the left side.
  
• next , move to the Date & time option and check your times. Set them if they aren’t.
  
• Now close the setting app and Reboot your computer for changes to effect.
  

Fix 4:Use Windows Troubleshooters

1. Press Window key+ X and then select settings.
   
2. then choose System from the left side.
   
3. So, scroll down on the page and select the Troubleshooter option.
   
4. Then, go on the other troubleshooters.
   
5. Again, scroll down and go to Windows Store app.
   
6. Thus, choose the Run command. It will start to diagnose the issue.

try resetting or deleting the xbox app then re install, and check for any app updates via the windows store.

sorry to hear. But please help us to help your! How did you try to install the game???? If you have tried it via the gamepass app and it fails, try it via the store!!! But also check if
your system is really uptodate (please check Windows update and also the Store App)
and check if all 4 XBOX Services and the 2 gaming service are running (via taskmanager).

sorry to hear and NO it is not the wrong System ;-) it is a beta APP and perhaps it is due to the diversity of Systems compared to the console.

Maybe you try this workaround - it often helps - use the Windows STORE APP to install the game.

But first also try to Update the Windows System via Store APP - because the center of the Gamespass is the XBOX APP and this often gets UPDATE only via store!!
