  1. Trying to Install a new SSD in Xbox One X

I upgraded my drive to a SSD of equal size. Ive used the OSU1 offline updater, unformatted, formated (NTFS), different drives holding the OSU1 file.

Ive also tried the Xbox One X hdd windows script then tried wit h the OSU1 updater.

I've been troubleshooting for about 2days now, do you guys have any advice? is this a known problem? All the tutorials on YT have it solved in minutes but each video has be running into the same 3 error codes (E101,E102 and E106)

My console is apart of the Insider Program (OS:25398.4441)

I've heard the OSU1 file needs to be update before the offline update function will work? is that also true is or there a new file version already out somewhere?

    :)

Xbox Series X games installed to external SSD expansion card causing console to hard crash installing games.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with your Xbox Series X when installing or updating games to an external SSD expansion card. You mentioned that the console freezes or hard crashes when you try to install or update games, but only when using the SSD expansion card. When you remove the SSD card, the console works fine. However, when you try to install DLC on the internal hard drive, the console still freezes and shuts off after a few minutes.

This issue could be related to a compatibility problem between the Xbox Series X and the SSD expansion card. It is possible that the card is not fully compatible with the console or that there is an issue with the card itself. You may want to try using a different brand or model of SSD expansion card to see if the issue persists.

Another possibility is that the SSD expansion card may be defective or damaged. If this is the case, you may need to contact the manufacturer or retailer to arrange for a replacement or repair.

In any case, it may be helpful to check for any firmware updates or other software updates for the Xbox Series X or the SSD expansion card to ensure that you are using the most up-to-date and compatible versions. You may also want to try contacting Xbox support for further assistance in resolving the issue.
There is only one model and one manufacturer of the expansion card for the Series consoles. There is no other brand or model to try.

Would Samurai Showdown 3 and 360 Lumines look better on the Xbox One X?

Speed times maybe the same, but if you have an external ssd connected to the xbox one x with the games installed on it, then speed times might be quicker.

I need help with my series s

It's because the Series S/X are new gen. They require the xbox SSD. You are using an HDD. SSD's are way faster than an SSD, the series s is trying to run the 120fps and higher graphics. Thats why they are telling you to move the games. It wants you to play them on the internal SSD storage.

why does my xbox one x say my ssd is too slow

Could it be that your Xbox One X is trying to run a game or app that requires a faster read speed than what your SSD can actually provide? Another thing to check is the USB port you're using to connect your SSD to the Xbox One X. You may try a different one and see if anything changes.

    Thanks,
