Trying to install a game from disc and the install stops after claiming its ready to start.

I'm trying to install COD ww2 on the xbox one. At first it wouldn't install the disc so I went offline which seemed to work until it reached 55%. It then came up with the ready to start notification and immediately force stopped the install. Its now stuck at 55.7% and won't continue even if I force it to try again.

There's no visible damage to the disc. Any suggestions to help?

I can't clear local save data as it has all of my games saved data on it.

I have available storage. And like I said I tried to install the base game before rhe updates as that was also causing issues.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly install the game digitally by following the steps below:

1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it.

Ye its always signed into live with good wire connection. Also after being on for an hour or so nothing will install from disc or ready to install list just says instaltion stopped constantly if i resume. Also will not let me save on certain games when
its been on for same time period.

Discs don't show up in the ready to install after they've been uninstalled. The ready to install is for digitally owned games only, its basically your digital games library.

You have to install a game off a disc manually and then reinstall it with the disc of you want to play it again after deleting it. If you want to reinstall a deleted game that was bought digitally it would be in your ready to install.

The disc also needs to be in the console when you play it. Lol.

Thanks for responding the game I have is Minecraft Xbox One Edition and everytime i try to load It it is stuck on 0% and It will say installation stopped after it says installation started I will probably try with a different disc if its something wrong with my current one.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Based on the troubleshooting steps you have already performed, we believe the next step to be re-installing the game. You can highlight the game icon and press start, but choose uninstall instead. After that, you can reinstall
the game from the disc, or from your ready to install section if its a digital.
