    My sons Xbox (Microsoft) account was hacked. I have the person's IP address. Is there anything we can do to get his things back for his game? Can we revert the account back 24 hours?

    Yes, sorry i used wrong terminology. The person sent my son who is ten a link which had bit.ly which i know is a link to steal his credentials. He was being told he won things. How do we get the items back? We have all the information including the messages
    and proof. I am dealing with the gaming company now. We shall see what happens. Thanks for your reply.

    usually this is not down to hacking as that would be a lot of work, they have either guessed the password or unfortunately the most common of these is he shared his credentials with another player.
