Trying to get cloud gaming to work

hey,

I'm trying to get the cloud gaming to work. I'm using a mac and chrome browser.

I subscribed and tried it and then it said I needed a controller, so I went and bought an Xbox 360 controller.

I've tried of a bunch of things inc downloading a driver for the controller, which recognizes the controller but doesn't have any effect on the screen.

Shall I stop trying, will an Xbox 360 controller ever work?

I see the page has some examples of which controllers do work, can anyone be more specific with what they are exactly for someone who is a gaming/console newbie?

Will they definitely work on mac, chrome combo. mac os 10.14.6.

Is anyone else running this combo and care to share with me their set up? I just want to play sea of Thieves with my friends.

Hello gotthisisannoying, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your gaming.

I believe the issue here is that you've gotten an Xbox 360 controller. What you'll want to use is at least an Xbox One controller or one of the ones in the linked list below.

I’ve spent 4 hours trying to get this to work, nothing works, I’ve switched to my sons account on my Xbox launched the game and it works? Won’t load on cloud gaming either, I can’t seem to find any other information on it or how i can delete the game save from the cloud as there’s nothing on my Xbox, this is very frustrating

If nothing else is working, you could try to uninstall and reinstall the game, and delete local save only. Then when you reload the game to play it, it will sync to cloud save. If the issue is still there, and no other suggestions work, this may be a game-breaking
bug and you may need to completely delete your save (local and Cloud) and restart it. Very sorry to hear this, hopefully you get it working.
