Trying to find old email for old account

So recently I talk to a few old friends I met on xbox back in 2011/12 and they had the same usernames the whole decade. So I tried to find out my old email for my username but I could remember it. I know the account name but I have no idea what the email linked to it is. Is there antly way to recover the account or is it lost forever?

Hi,

If you cant find it, the only way to find it back its to call or chat with an agent, provide him the gamertag and he will check some security question with you to be sure that you are the owner. > https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

Support actually helped me get my old account back. they just need to ask some questions, i ended up getting my account back using the phone number it is linked to.

I have an old xbox account which I had when I was younger and am in pretty much the same boat as you as I want too get it back but don't remember the email address which I used too create it.

Thanks for the answer, I lost some time trying to do what you recommended but in the end I didn't succeed, I find it absurd to have to give up my old email to join the old xbox account ... I think I'll
let my old xbox die account. Thx again.
