Trying to buy rubies for Hidden City

You have to add a Canada address and card in order to make the purchase.

Can I use Microsoft Rewards to buy rubies or tools from the Microsoft Store for Hidden City, Hidden Object?

I don't think there are any offers to use MS Reward Points to purchase ingame items in the way you mention.

but you might be able to redeem the points for Xbox/Microsoft Gift Cards then use your Microsoft Account Balance to make the ingame purchases

Have reset my outlook.com account.

Have reset windows store app.

Left message at G5 games. (No reply)

Have rebooted several times today.

Only thing I haven't done is reset app (will possibly lose all my data)

I'd recommend you to reset the app or uninstall and install again.

Game saves are usually saved on the cloud, so you would not lose any progress. But few games are still loading the progress in computer's driver. I am not aware where does Hidden city saves game's progress.

How long is the issue happening? It can be just a server/connection issue. I'd wait a few hours and see if the problem persists. If it does, try uninstalling and installing it again.
