Trying to buy Ark DLC, can't select friend from list

I'm trying to buy a DLC bundle for a friend, because it's currently on sale. However, when I try to select a friend from my list, the list just blinks and disappears, leaving me to select either Email or Friends list again. I would send via Email if i
could, but various circumstances prevent me from using that method for this particular friend.

I tried customer support, but neither Live Chat nor Request a Call seem to be working either, just blinking and having the window disappear.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are unable to select a friend from your friend's list so that you can send your friend a gift. Are you attempting to send the gift on an Xbox One, a Windows 10 computer or a mobile device?
If you are using an Xbox One, we suggest
power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend trying to

send the gift through the Microsoft Store website on a different device like a cell phone or tablet. Be sure to let us know the results

You can check to see if the Store on the dashboard needs an update. Also, report it as a bug directly from your console. I know you mentioned sending via email doesn't work for you, but that is the best method. It shouldn't be a problem with ARK but the
Store itself. Try giving your console a hard reset and making the purchase again.

Did a complete reset, did not keep games and Apps, installed Ark, downloaden a DLC. DLC disappears from the list of installed items after some seconds.

I bought only one DLC (Vengeance 1), from that moment it was really hard to join any game. I could only join core games or see my friends list and try to join when it was possible. I removed that DLC and problem solved, incredible. Don't buy DLCs until they
solve this problem.

If this is the Windows 10 store version, I'd first try to reset the app by going to settings > Apps and then finding Ark in the list. From there click it and select Advanced Options. On that page will be a button to "Reset" the app.

What are the specs of the computer you're trying to run it on? That might have something to do in terms of compatibility.
