Discus and support trying to buy a game on the xbox.com store but not sure if it will download to my xbox one in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; im trying to buy left 4 dead 2 on the xbox.com store since you cant buy the game on the actual xbox store, but im afraid if i buy it from the xbox.com...     trying to buy a game on the xbox.com store but not sure if it will download to my xbox one


    im trying to buy left 4 dead 2 on the xbox.com store since you cant buy the game on the actual xbox store, but im afraid if i buy it from the xbox.com store that it wont downlaod since the game isnt on the regular xbox store. any help?

    can't buy 360 or original xbox games on xbox one or pc site

    So, i was trying to buy a 360 game on my xbox one and when i got to the game in the store it said buyon either xbox.com or an xbox 360. after that i tried to buy the same game on xbox.com with my gift card balance and it said choose new payment type. why
    is it doing this? fix your store microsoft.

    Cant download the Free game!

    Hello everyone, i've been trying to download this month gold xbox 360 title, tomb raider underworld, but it keeps telling me that i can't because my account is not allowed to! It also says that i must complete the transaction on my xbox and not on xbox.com,
    by the way, my account can buy games on the store and download free games with gold just fine without any kind of issue, thanks everyone for your help!

    Hi, If you buy a backwards compatible game off of the xbox.com it will become in your games immediately right after purchase!

    As strange as a suggestion this may be, go to Xbox.com, sign in and try to redeem the code on there.

    I wanted to buy south park stick of truth and it wouldn't allow me to buy and download on my Xbox due to it being not available when it was. I signed into Xbox.com and bought it there, downloaded on my Xbox. Worked like a dream. Once you have the license
    to say you own the game, you can download it from the store. Hope this helps!

    Hi,

    If you want to buy these games, buy them via Xbox one console then it will be downloaded on your Xbox one and you will be able to play them on the Xbox one. Dont buy them via Xbox.com or Microsoft store you risk some issue...

    Hi, I am pretty sure when you say xbox site you mean xbox.com and not the xbox store. Doing it through the xbox store on the actual xbox one wont work you have to go to xbox.com and buy it and once you do it will go straight to your games and apps.

    Try to search the game on the Xbox Store or here on Xbox.com and try downloading it that. Go to "Store" and select "Games" and click "Search" to try to find the game.
