    I made this account about 8-9 years ago. I was about 12 years old. The email I used was an old email I later deleted because of too much spam and I didn't think it would be much of a problem. The recovery email is the same situation. The phone number that is on the account as well was a landline. Our house flooded in 2016 and we haven't reinstated the landline since, so there's no way to access it. I've filled out the recovery form but when I made the account I was still just a kid and probably didn't put real information and didn't think I'd have to remember. I know the Xbox Gamertag because I named it similarly to my oldest Xbox 360 account. If I'm able to talk to a real person, I can prove that the account is mine. The bot that reviews the forms just immediately declines it. I guarantee it hasn't been accessed in about 6 years because the last time I had an Xbox 360 with that account was about 6 years ago. Please find a way to help me. I believe there are some great memories hidden in that account and I would really like to find them.

    Question about recover Old Gamertag

    I am unable to access my old Microsoft account. However when I do a search of Xbox Gamertag's my account is still live. Is there a way to link my old gamertag to a new account?
    Whats the reason you cant access the old Microsoft account? Don't remember the password or what email you used?

    You can try at the link below, but it seems like if you don't at least know what the old email is, I don't think it will be possible.

    Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with redeeming a game-pre-paid code. If you changed your email on the account, I recommend trying to
    log into the Microsoft account
    with both emails.

    Don't worry if you don't have access to the old email, the email is used as a username and try the password at that point.
    Please review the transaction/purchase history on the website to see what account redeemed the code.
