    Pre-ordered the Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition on 5th Dec, however, no code of Halo Wars DE was recieved.

    It's been 3 days since 20th Dec, feel extremely furstrating, can some staff member help me to get my code?

    How do I work my halo wars high definition, I already bought the halo wars 2 ultimate edition but when reading the high definition description and says that I needed a code, but says it already been installed. And when I try getting on it, it sends me to
    halo wars 2. I need some help with this.

    Hey there,

    Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
    library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

    To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!
    I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
    was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.

    Hello!

    You are not alone with this issue. I have the same problem and posted about it here.

    I still haven't got it, but it helps to know that it's a common problem.

    As far as I understand it, we should have two versions of both Halo Wars 1 and 2, one for XBox One (the one not suppored on this device) and one for Windows.

    For some reason, Halo Wars 2 is correctly activated for both platforms, but Halo Wars 1 is not.

    When did you redeem the code provided by Amazon? Once you redeem the code for Halo Wars 2, you should receive a code for Halo Wars DE within 7-10 days.

    Did you preorder a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, your code for the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be in the box for Halo Wars 2. If you preordered a digital copy, you'll get a code for the Halo
    Wars DE copy to your Xbox Live message center 7-10 days after redeeming your code.
