    Troubles with refurbished Xbox one


    I just bought a refurbished Xbox one a little while ago. I believe the previous owner was a part of the insider program and I believe the Xbox was never removed from the program. It doesn’t show up under my insider account so I’m wondering if someone from the insider team can manually remove the Xbox from the program. I have the serial number, please PM me for it or I can PM you if you reply to this post. It’s been giving me nothing but troubles and I believe this is the reason why.

    UPDATE: 23/10/2014

    I just received my console today and as I was expecting a refurbished console NOT a brand new one. The good thing is they got it right this time and it actually works!

    Recap: Sent my brand new xbox one for fan noise issues... Got sent back a replacement (refurbished) doesn't even work (shows somekind of error that asks contact xbox support) contacted xbox support and they "advanced exchange repair" me. After a day got
    my new (refurbished) xbox one that works.

    But the point here is that my refurbished xbox one comes with a warranty that says refurbished xbox 360. is that okay? what would i do?

    Sorry to hear it. If you have purchased the console from a local gaming store then it may be best to return it for an exchange.
