    Troubles with my new Xbox account


    So I just got Xbox Gold on my very old Microsoft account - No problems there. However I noticed that the name under my gamertag is not the same as the name under my Microsoft account. Also the gamer picture on my Xbox is different than my Microsoft account
    picture.

    I'm trying to get the name and picture on my Xbox account to match that of my Microsoft account. Again, I want to transfer the profile information from my Microsoft account to my Xbox account. My name and my profile picture..

    Seems simple but I've tried everything I can think of. Does anyone have the answer?

    Xbox 360 Troubles with Xbox Live Account - Can't Change Accounts

    I'm having troubles with the Xbox Live Account. My roommate moved out and I wanted to create a new Xbox Live Account to replace his. The trouble is I can't find my way through the settings to really change the Accounts on the Xbox. Could somebody ls help

    Problem xbox live connection

    Try changing the password to the account you are having trouble with. Then sign out of the account, shut down the Xbox and then signing back in with the new password.

    I've been doing some digging online for you about this error message and this came directly from a MSDN Blog
    here. Going out on a limb and say that you want to try out #2 since it seems to be pertinent to you. There are also some
    other solutions on the page from others but these are their official solutions.

    1. If you are trying to turn an existing email into a Live ID then chances are that email already *is* a Live ID. If you don't remember the password for this Live ID anymore, you can either reset it (try http://windowslivehelp.com ...

    2. If you are trying to create a new Live ID then you should go to https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx instead.
