Troubles logging into our Live account

All was just fine up until today afternoon. When we try logging into our Live account sometimes we are able to and sometimes we get "access denied" page. When we are able to log in, clicking on Devices or Rewards results in either 'Oops, something went
wrong' or 'Access denied'. What gives? We haven't changed anything regarding devices we're using to access our Live account. No new software, no new firewall rules, nothing. Can someone from Microsoft check on your end what's going on? By the way, logging
into our Xbox account works just fine, but going from there to our Live Account page results in same beforementioned errors.

Hey there Schtrooklee thanks for keeping in touch.

We understand the issue could be stemming from the network hardware so (ON THE XBOX ONE CONSOLE) we suggest clearing out the Network Card Cache to prevent further interruptions.

To clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)

Clear and restart

We understand your concern regarding signing into the Xbox Live account on the web browser. Honestly I have noticed the same thing on my own personal accounts. When trying to add a family member or going to rewards I would get the same error where it said
oops something went wrong or access denied. I tried refreshing the page three times and it would still do it. I tried again later and it would work. I would recommend reporting this to our

Microsoft
Rewards Support. Perhaps it is a known issue on their end and they would be able to assist.

We do not have the tools on the Forums to look into a gamer's account though. It would be best to contact support to have them check your account.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Yeah, wasn't clear enough. It happens on our PC, not on our Xbox. Although, we immediately went to our Xbox and had some troubles logging in. We'd just get 'Bye, (user). Log in by pressing blah blah'. We've then reset our router and tried logging in on
both our PC and Xbox. For now, everything seems to be working ok. We had an internet connection outage, WAN lease was not being picked up, so maybe something went wrong after WAN lease was picked up.
