Trouble with XBOX App. Console not showing under connections.

I hit the trash can icon on the Connection section of the Xbox app. I changed my console's name in hopes it would show up again. Still hasn't shown up. I have reset router and hard reset my console and re downloaded the Xbox App. I try to add it by entering
the IP address but I get this error.

Any help would be awesome!

Hey all! Sorry to hear about the Overwatch connection trouble.

To start things out, can you please clarify what your detailed network statistics are showing up as under network settings? Just want to see what your network speeds are showing up as on your Xbox One. Thanks!

Xbox App recording has a 40 second limit?

Certainly. The version showing under settings on the app is 11.11.19012.00000. I am not familiar with the beta app, how do I try it?

Hey all!

Sorry to hear about the achievement trouble. To check, after you connect to Xbox Live does the achievement show up as 'Done and Unlocking...' under the achievement screen or does it still show as incomplete?

Are you signed into the Xbox Console Companion App? Check there, and verify in the App under Settings > Network that your connection isn't blocked or any other errors that might show up there. Issues there could prevent you from being able to sign in
to other apps that use Xbox verification.

When you go to Settings on the app, and choose Console under App settings, does it show an active console ?

The Xbox App will show the console, but only if I've already manually connected to it when I have the Xbox turned on. If I turn if off via the Xbox App, I am not able to turn in back on, even if I just turned it off. SmartGlass is similar in that if I have
connected to the Xbox while it was already turned on it will remember it, but it is not able to turn the device on if it is already off.

It's my understanding that I should be able to turn my Xbox on remotely with either the Xbox App or SmartGlass, but it has never consistently worked since I've owned the device, which is very disappointing. Not sure why the option is even there if it doesn't
work.

Gotcha. We tested this again and were indeed able to power on the Xbox One console we tested using Instant-On power mode with the Xbox SmartGlass app and on the same network between mobile phone and console.

Let's have you try connecting your mobile device to this same network as your Xbox One console, power off the console, and then close the app and re-open it, do you see the ability to power on your console under the "Console" settings page of the Xbox SmartGlass
app?

If you're still experiencing trouble with this, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console? Also, what is your NAT type showing as on that network?
