    Trouble with X/S enhanced games


    Here recently I've been having issues with my X/S enhanced games such as DRG, CP2077, D2 just to name a few. The issue is that the fan seems to be spinning faster and louder than usual but the console never seems to get hot and I get less frames for a split second here and there, the fan will get loud to the point I'll sometimes hear it over my headset or while I'm 6 feet away from it. The biggest issue is that this has never been a problem until sometime recently. It's treally annoying and idk if it's the thermal paste failing or a software update messed with it.

    As it clearly states in the store "Xbox One X Enhanced", not Xbox One S.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    That didn't work either. I think my gpu or the thermal paste might be failing but the console doesn't get hot enough to warrant thermal paste failure. The fan kicks up when I look at certain things in each respective game. Cyberpunk it'll be bushes or flora. For drg it'd be the hologram on the space rig so on and so forth

    I'm sorry to know that and I can't confirm anything as in this case, we may need to get the console repaired. I would highly recommend signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices and from there, you can check the warranty along with creating a repair order.

    Warranty is voided and I can't afford to send them to look at it and possibly not find what's wrong with it.
