    Trouble with the chatpad


    Good night (or good morning), I buyed the Xbox ONE X last november, and a few days ago I buyed the chatpad for the Xbox One, but, I tried hard to plug it in the controller and it didn't plug in, sadly I tried harder and I ended making what I call, "a nameless
    sacrilege", by breaking my controller. The good news, the guy in the place where my folks made me the favor (I work from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm) to take it to repair was able to save it, the bad news, I can't use the chatpad slot anymore, anyway I wanted to buy
    another controlller anyway, in this case to use the chatpad, but I'm worried that I can have the same problem with another controller, I checked out that the chatpad perfectly fits in other Xbox One controllers. but my brother and I checked out the broken
    slot and it was hard to only to semi put it. Did anyone of you have this issues?

    Stereo headset adapter for the controller

    Is this the same situation as the chatpad? I'm having trouble fitting that onto my S controller.

    Chatpad issues with XBOX ONE S controller (won't fit)

    Hello! I just bought one of the XBOX ONE chatpads with the included chat headset.

    I am having trouble fitting the chatpad onto my XBOX ONE S controller.

    As far as I can tell from the instructions and from inspecting the controller, the chatpad should just be able to plug into the controller right?

    It feels like something might not be aligned... like something is blocking the connection... I shouldn't need to remove anything, correct?

    x box 360 headset that came with the chatpad.

    I had the opposite troubles. I kept getting headets that worked but the chatpads never did. After trying and exchanging 4 times I finally returned my 4th one and ditched the idea of having a chatpad. I would like the convenience of one but I'll be damned
    if I can get one to work. I made sure it was plugged in securely to the controller, read the manual, checked all kinds of forums and everything, but it was a no go.

    Hello. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Xbox 360 Chatpad.



    There are two tabs on either end of the chatpad that fit securely into the screw holes on the bottom grips of the controller. If these are not secure then the chatpad won't be fully operational as the connection at the powerport will be loose.





    Connect the Xbox 360 Chatpad to a controller:



    1. Turn the controller and the Xbox 360 Chatpad so that the bottom of each faces up.

    2. Align the chatpad connector plug with the controller's expansion port. Align the two posts on the chatpad with the holes on the controller.

    3. Push the chatpad onto the controller with even pressure until they snap together. There should be no gaps.
