Trouble with privacy settings

Hello, I am trying to play with some friends of mine, but my privacy settings won't let me talk to them in a party. I tried to access my privacy settings on my PC and every time I press the link to go to the privacy page it routes me to the support page related to it. When I click the link to privacy settings on the support page, it opens the same page in another tab. I looked up a YouTube video and where the person got taken to privacy settings I was instead sent to the support page again, even though I did exactly what they did. I don't really know what to do here because it seems like a dead end because the support page link leads right back to the exact same page, and anything I've tried to access it all leads back to the same support page. I would really appreciate any solution to this problem. I have also tried restarting my pc and reloading pages.

Are you saying that the Privacy and online safety link you provided in your last reply just routes you back to the support page? because it works for me. I just want to make sure that is what the problem is so I can help you find a solution.

If you are using this Xbox app from the Microsoft store on your computer https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9MV0B5HZVK9Z you can log into xbox using that

1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner

2. Go to settings.

3. Under your profile pic there should be a Manage privacy settings button

4. Click that and it should take you to the same page that that Privacy and Online Safety Link should take you too.

If that doesn't work or you have already tried that please let me know.

NO you don't understand. We went to the page you linked. We tried from that page to go to the Privacy & online safety When I click on that it just goes back to the page I was just on. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/online-safety/manage-app-privacy-settings-xbox-one

I purchased a brand new computer for gaming.

I was told I had to change privacy settings on all including console which I did. And also on the xbox.com site.

Everything saved except for the xbox.com site privacy settings under the Xbox One\Windows 10 tab. It refuses to save my settings so I cannot stream from my Windows 10 PC.

I am signed in.

I have spent the last 4 days talking to customer service online and on the phone and they cannot find a reason why the xbox.com site will not save my settings.

IT IS NOT MY HARDWARE!!!!

There is something wrong with the Xbox.com site...it will save on the other tabs I.E Privacy and Xbox 360 but will not save on the Xbox\Windows 10 setting

I have pressed the 'Submit' button on every tab and it saves for the Privacy Section and the Xbox 360 section but will not save for the Xbox One\Windows10 tab.

As you can see it will not save the three setting to broadcast. Those are the only three it won't save.

Sign in to your Xbox.
Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Account.
Under Privacy & online safety, select Xbox Live privacy.
Choose a default, or customize your settings by selecting View details & customize.
