Trouble with my home xbox

I made one of my friends account my home xbox so that we could play for honor together but in games and apps for honor is not there only the beta but my friend swears he has it. I've tried resetting my xbox and he reset his but nothing is working. Please
help.

Home Xbox Troubles

Hey! So me and some buddies had a communal Xbox which we stored my Xbox gold account on, and it got swapped a couple times. But not that's no longer needed, and I went to set my home Xbox as the xbox I personally own, but it says that I can't change it more
than three times in a year. Is there any way to tell when I can change it, or any way to bypass this limit so I own my home xbox?

Hi there,

you could consider doing a full Factory Reset on the console, since the full one will remove the Home console setting too, but before you try that you might want to contact Xbox Support first via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat.

Double check the Home setting on your father's console and make sure it does show that console as your Home. It's acting as if it isn't. If it does say that it is your Home, try holding down the power button on the console until it turns off, unplug the
console, plug it back in, and turn it back on.

I have 2 Xbox's in my house, and have never had an issue with the Home Xbox (gold sharing) feature.

You can share your Gold and game downloads but only some DLC via the console you have set as your Home Xbox.
