Trouble with connecting to Discord

Hello Jeff, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the connection.

It's very possible that this could be an issue on the Discord side. Especially since you say you did a factory reset on the console. When you relinked the accounts did you go onto the Discord side into the Settings and have it forget the Xbox connection?

If not give that a try then relink to the Xbox again to see if that helps.

1. On your Xbox, go to Settings > Account > Linked social accounts and unlink your Discord account.

2. On your PC or mobile device, open the Discord app and go to User Settings > Connections and disconnect your Xbox account.

3. Restart both your Xbox and your Discord app.

4. On your Xbox, go to Settings > Account > Linked social accounts and link your Discord account again. You should receive a code on your screen.

5. On your PC or mobile device, open the Discord app and go to User Settings > Connections and connect your Xbox account. Enter the code that you received on your Xbox.

6. On your Xbox, launch the Discord app and try to join a server.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still having trouble relinking your Discord account to Xbox.

1. Try to unlink your account on your Xbox and from the Discord app, then restarting your Xbox and relinking from the Discord app and Xbox app.

2. Try to set up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connecting the console to the hotspot connection.

3. If these solutions don’t work, I recommend reporting the problem to Xbox through the following link.

Click the green button that says "Report" and fill in the information as detailed as possible.
