    Trouble with Bedrock multiplayer while using add-ons and resource packs.


    Hi!! I am having trouble with my friends joining my worlds. Some context:

    I made a multi-player enabled world on Bedrock Addition (through my Xbox) with Action's & Stuff, RealismCraft, & Naturalist as the world's Add-ons. “Shared Packs” is enabled. When my friends try to join this world, they are given the option to download the packs (50.5 mb). The download process begins and continues until it fails. The error message is "The connection to the host was lost. If that world is still being hosted, please check your internet connection to try again."

    During this time, my game will intermittently freeze. My main concern is that none of my friends are able to successfully download the resource packs to join the world. We did a little bit of messing around and found that by removing all but one, they can sometimes download just the single pack and join the world successfully. Obviously this is not ideal but at the very least they can still join.

    Some things we've tried:

    1. All our games are up to date.
    2. I have restarted my connection.
    3. Tried joining from an alt account from my same network off my PC client of Bedrock Edition.
    4. Removing all Global textures.

    I want to emphasize on the fact that, after removing all but one resource pack, my friends are only able to join somewhat consistently. Most of the time, they still receive the prior mentioned error message. Without any resource packs/add-ons enabled. they are able to join just fine. I remember some years ago this was never an issue. But after coming back to Bedrock and spending some money on the market to make a world for my friends and I to play on, the "Shared Packs" feature seems to cause them trouble and they are unable to play. I did some looking around and this seems to be a common issue, but I am yet to find a solution. Any help would be great.

    MInecraft Texture Packs

    After that go to the settings menu of your world when you load it up and the option to add texture packs, shaders, and resource packs should be one of the first things to come up.

    Resource pack trouble.

    The resource pack applies 500 of each resource. You have to make sure that you have no more than 2000 of each resource. Otherwise the pack will not be applied, because if just one of the resources is above 2000 in quantity, you will not have enough storage
    space to have it applied to your ship. Also there is an in game notification that informs you there isn't enough space if you are above 2000 in quantity for a single resource. try to sell or use up some of these resources and it should work. You may need to
    go to the main menu and reload for it to work after you clear up the space. Also, you can purchase and use the resource pack as many times as you like.

    When I try to open an Minecraft texture pack it opens Microsoft edge and downloads it again

    i have a prob with when i open a resource pack it opens the mc launcher instead of bedrock

    If you're having trouble accepting invites or joining Realms, be sure that you are not using a modded game client, and are not using a resource pack that does not contain textures for the Realm buttons. If you are, switch to the standard Minecraft
    game client, click Options, click Resource Packs, then return to the default.

    Modern warfare is not loading me in a match

    So I’ve been having this problem for a while and the only fix is to go to modern warfare then go to manage game add ons…. Once you are there you want to delete any comparability packs that are installed all you should have installed is multiplayer pack/ multiplayer pack and speacial ops pack/ mp2 pack / and multiplayer pack 3/ survival pack…… after you delete the two comparability packs from there you shouldn’t have the problem anymore
