    Trouble using 'System Link' over my wireless network... router issues?


    Good morning,

    I am trying to Sytem Link two consoles over my wireless network at home. When I create a lobby in Borderlands on one system, I am able to see it on the other system. But when trying to join said game, it fails to connect saying somthing like "This game is
    no longer available" even though its still waiting for players on the host console.

    A direct ethernet cable linking the two consoles works fine but I would like to stay connected to xbox live while in system link which I read should be possible.

    Are there certain settings on my router I should change that will allow Sytem Link to function properly?

    I've already Cleared System Cache several times, but It doesn't work. My router is a D-Link DIR-600. I'm connecting with wireless network.

    If the console is still able to see the wireless network and connect to it (I think you mentioned that above?), then the network adapter in the console is fine; there's probably an issue in router wireless network settings that's causing your trouble. However,
    glad to hear you used the trusty ethernet cable and got back online :)

    I would suggest these 2 things first is double checking all the correct ports are opened on your router, They can be changed when an isp could update the routers OS without you knowning changing the ports priority ect. 2nd is trying a wired connection to
    trouble shoot if it is a wireless issue.
