Trouble running two XB1S consoles with 1 XBL Gold account

Just bought a second XB1S console, let's call this Con2. The original, Con1 has 5 profiles on it, mine with XBL Gold, wife and three kids. Has about 5 downloaded games on it, rest of our games are disk based. Having issues getting both to be online under
my XBL Gold account at the same time. So far I set up Con2 with all 5 profiles, ans et it as My Home. This enabled me to download same games as on Con1, but I only did a couple for now. My son was on Fortnite on Con1 and when I set Con2 as My Home, it dropped
him off. I was not signed into Con1 at the time, only him. I made Con1 My Home again, and he got on again, but then of course Con2 dropped off and when someone went to play a downloaded game, it asked for the purchaser (me) to sign in. As it stands now, Con2
is set as My Home, and others can play online on Con1 providing that I am signed in. Obviously a problem when I want to play Con2 if Con1 is always signed into my profile.

HELP!

game sharing

right...i have xb1 my son has the 360..........we have 1 gold account signed up with his account on his 360 which is also used as the main profile on my xbox one,which i use my account on as a family member

he is getting a xb1 for xmas....................how do we game share fifa 15 and ad warfare on both consoles and still only use 1 gold account.......i know i have to buy the games digitaly

can't connect to xbl - ireland - eircom

i can't connect to xbl. it's the first time i've tried with this console and this connection. my xbl account is up and running, network and internet are connected, and no seperate firewall. i've been through all the trouble-shooting steps. my isp is vodafone
ireland - can anyone help??

Hi there!

So, you can ONLY have one console set as your 'HOME' console at a time.

And you only get 5 changes a year, so don't keep changing it.

For games and gold, only one other person can use the benefits on the home console while you play on the second console at the same time. You can only be signed in on one console at a time with any profile.

Does that make sense? So if your kids want to play together on different consoles, you will need another gold account etc.

I know that I can only make one as home, and yeah I've stopped changing it with one to go!. So you are saying that I cannot do, as an example, 4 player splitscreen on each console over the one Gold acc on Rocket League?

Keeping console 1 signed in on my profile , anyone can sign in and play on console 1, and they can also sign in and play online on console 2, doing it right now. BUT, that means I can ever only play on console 1, as I cannot sign into console 2 whilst still
signed in on 1. This is when my issue lies. My only way around it would be to physically swap them so not to use another home change, but I will always be limited to which one I can play (console 1) when others want to, or are already playing.

Pretty much, you wont be able to use one profile on two consoles logged in at the same time, there is no real work around for this. With the amount of profiles being used your going to have to get gold for each console or sacrifice game time when someone
is playing online on the other console.

Just to add... I think I found the crux of the issue.

My XB1 does not see a XBL Gold subscription

My Xbox account on the web does not see a XBL Gold subscription

HOWEVER, my Microsoft account sees the XBL Gold subscription

Talking to chat now, hopefully this can be figured out, heh
