Trouble loading into apex legends (error code 404)

Hello, I am experiencing a startup issue with Apex Legends on my Xbox series S, I can't load past the start screen and I've tried exiting the game, restarting my Xbox, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I've tried clearing my cache, and I have restarted my router and wifi. The problem still persists and I get this error code 404. I'm also aware that this problem has happened to other people who play on the series S but none of the methods are able to fix my issue. Is there a solution to this problem or am I now forever unable to play apex?

I understand that you are experiencing issues loading Apex Legends.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please reset your MAC address. To do this, go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Select Alternate MAC Address > Clear.

Restart your Xbox and relaunch Apex Legends.

And then set a manual DNS, by going to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Next is to relocate and test your network. Ensure that your console is properly connected to the internet. Move closer to your Wi-Fi router or test using a wired Ethernet connection. Test your network speed via Settings > Network > Test Network Speed & Statistics. Make sure your connection is stable and fast enough for online gameplay.

Then clear persistent storage. Go to Settings > Devices & Connections > Blu-ray > Persistent Storage. Select Clear Persistent Storage.

Relaunch Apex Legends.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall and then reinstall Apex Legends. This will delete the corrupted files from the game.

Hello,

I followed all the steps except clearing persistent storage, when I go to the devices and connections tab in settings, there is no section called blu-ray. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the game previously and the issue still persists. Thank you for your help so far but do you have any other recommendations? I have tried playing on a different Xbox account as well and it will not work on my Xbox, but I have friends that are able to play on their Xbox's and their own accounts.

If you are referring to the Apex Legends error 104, that relates to being unable to sign in with a child account to EA. Unfortunately you will either have to wait until the child account becomes of age or you will have create a new account. If its not that
error then we will have to have some more information.
