Trouble joining worlds with add-ons Minecraft.

Hello,

I am currently having troubles when joining a minecraft bedrock world on Xbox. I have enabled some add-ons from the marketplace store (dragon fire, tinkerers construct, etc.) and whenever my friends try to join, their download stops at a number and then wont advance any further forcing them to either cancel joining the world, or quit out of Minecraft Bedrock all-together. The friends in question are also using PC and Xbox. Normally i would shrug this off, however i previously tried to join another friends world (they were on Minecraft bedrock for PC) and the same thing was happening to me as well. I would have it load to a certain number and then it would just freeze. Is there any solution to this or a fix?

If you did what the other two ambassadors said.but i have both edtions of MInecraft the xbox one edtion and the Mincraft pc edtion witch you can play with pc and other consoles.if your haveing trouble joining your friends world it has to be in online mode
for you to join his world.And your world has to be in online mode as well for him to join your world as well.if your useing the new version of Minecraft then you have to use the invite to game section in the minecraft start screen.from there.Good luck hope

If you cannot add friends or join their world, follow these steps to fix the issue:

Both Java and Bedrock players can experience trouble adding people or joining their world due to their Microsoft account privacy settings.

You may be having trouble joining other people's world because of your NAT status (This depends on your network configuration, but it can be fixed)

Your friend may not have his world set as "Open to LAN" or if he is hosting the server on a PC, his ports are maybe closed which is why you can't join.

Your firewall might be preventing you from joining the world
