Trouble hearing a friend in a party

My issue is that when I'm in a party or chat with one of my friends I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me. If I go into a party with them and other people I can hear everyone else and they can
hear me, but then I still cant hear this one person and they cant hear me. Everyone else can't hear that one friend anymore. And before I join, everyone can hear and talk to each other. Everyone in the parties are all xbox friends so there isn't any possible
issues with that, but this only started happening a few days ago. It is also worth noting that I am on pc, and everyone else is on the xbox one. If anyone can please help me with this, i would be very grateful. Thank you.

i was having the same issue it all depends on what you are using aswell. sometimes if you are in party chat using gamebar it will glitch out. you could always do a party in console companion. also if you are using gamebar check the settings to see if push
to talk is enabled or not.+

To check, are you using an official Xbox One wireless controller? Also, what brand/model headset are you using and what's going on with it?

Are you having trouble hearing game or party audio or not being heard by your friends in an Xbox Live party?

I find if you're having trouble hearing your friends or vice-versa in party chat, an easy fix is to simply switch from party chat to game chat and back again.

As far as voice messaging is concerned, I'm not entirely certain if MS wants to bring it back... :|
