    Trojan detected in Xbox app


    Hi, so in my WpSystem folder, Kaspersky is putting a Trojan.DOS.SPS.101 in quarantine then deleting it, from the Xbox folder, this same file has been quarantined and cleared about a week ago as well, what is this?

    It honestly sounds like a false-positive to me.

    Have you ran other detection tools other than Kaspersky? Something else could be doing it rather than the xbox app.
    I have run a malwarebytes scan and it detects nothing, but maybe because kaspersky already removed it? Not sure, what's the use of the WpSystem folder, the file seems to be pretty deep in the directory to be found

    That's what i thought as well, might be a mistake on Kaspersky's end possibly, it picked up the same file on its background scan about a month ago, but whatever it is is, nothing else is being picked up on either Kaspersky or malwarebytes after the deletion,
    so you might be right.
